Calendar of Upcoming Events
We are delighted to announce the upcoming Carol T. Beckham IP Community Service Award ceremony (September 22), celebrating the 2026 honoree and recognizing outstanding service, dedication, and meaningful contributions to the intellectual property community.
This special event will bring our community together to honor a well-deserved achievement and celebrate the spirit of service that continues to make a lasting impact.
CIPI is the annual CLE and networking conference of the Georgia Intellectual Property Alliance, held at Georgia State University College of Law. Since 2007 it has brought corporate IP teams together with outside counsel and consultants to compare what is actually working: portfolio strategy, enforcement, licensing and monetization, international practice, and the places where IP now runs into AI, data and regulation.
Sessions are led by practitioners rather than presenters, and the program is built so that most seats on every panel belong to in-house participants.

During GIPA Charity Golf Tournament we bring people together around a shared cause. It’s a day on the course, but also a space where the IP and legal community connects with the arts community in a more informal, human way. This year an opportunity to sponsor a First Responder.
A simple way of bringing people together around something that matters. It’s a community 5 K run, but also a space to show up for others—particularly breast cancer patients and first responders who are navigating demanding, often unseen challenges.
