GOVERNOR BRIAN KEMP PROCLAIMS OCTOBER 2022 AS IP MONTH IN GEORGIA
On August 23, 2022, Governor Brian Kemp reaffirmed the state of Georgia’s commitment to intellectual property by recognizing October as IP Month for the fifth consecutive year. Georgia remains the only state in the United States where intellectual property receives a month-long recognition. In fact, there is only one country in the world that has a month-long recognition of intellectual property: the Philippines!
The Georgia Intellectual Property Alliance GIPA is grateful for the support of Georgia leaders and looks forward to continuing to collaborate on projects for all regions and reaches of Georgia with IP education, conferences, economic development, and much more to benefit our citizens.
GIPA Initiatives with OTHER Georgia Governors
The Georgia Intellectual Property Alliance (GIPA) thanks Governor Nathan Deal for his business development and IP initiatives in Georgia, which included four IP Proclamations (including several week-long recognitions of intellectual property).
