The Illinois Intellectual Property Alliance (ILIPA) is launched
Today [March 11, 2020] the Illinois Intellectual Property Alliance (ILIPA) was born!
An impressive assembly of creators, protectors, and enablers of intellectual property gathered to chart a new organization whose mission is to serve as a “hub” for a statewide innovation ecosystem to benefit our state [of Illinois].
This first-of-its-kind organization in Illinois will connect a statewide ecosystem of professionals from academia, business (small and large), government, capital and finance, labor, not-for-profits, law and service providers—all on local and national levels. This Alliance will be modeled after the Georgia IP Alliance founded by Scott Frank, and will be apart of the soon-to-be created United States Intellectual Property Alliance (USIPA).
